Mike's presentation will focus on the technology partners that were brought together to enable Melbourne Storm to deliver an Australian first omni-channel loyalty program for professional sporting teams.  Working across a range of a disconnected environments poses some unique challenges for most of Australia's top professional sporting teams.   Mike will discuss how Melbourne Storm were able to overcome a range of barriers with the assistance of their technology partners to deliver some amazing results.  Hear how Melbourne Storm were able to integrate single sign on across their digital products, bring together gamification throughout their digital assets, integrate their smart card technology across the point of sale system throughout their home ground at AAMI Park and market in real time to spectators through gathering data accumulated via their smart card technology. The huge amount of data that has been accumulated across all of their channels is now consolidated in to a data warehouse with marketing automation capabilities to take the marketing efforts of the team to the next level. The results seen through the first two phases of development highlight the potential to shape consumer behaviour in a range of areas and the future of the program will continue to build on the learning to date as well as throw in some new technology solutions to enhance the engagement with fans.
